As an international student at UJ, it is crucial to familiarize yourself with the array of academic resources and support services available to enhance your learning experience. Bibilioteka at UJ is a dynamic and invaluable resource for students pursuing academic excellence. You can easily access research materials and books online through your devices or visit the library if you prefer to work in a quiet environment. The library is open from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM.

Student Support and Adaptation Center (SOWA)

SOWA plays a crucial role in providing assistance and counseling services for UJ students. Aimed at supporting the well-being and adaptation of students, SOWA offers a range of resources to help individuals navigate the challenges of academic life. Beyond the confines of academia, take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich cultural history of Krakow. Discover the historical landmarks scattered throughout the city, such as the iconic UNESCO World Heritage site Wawel Castle, Kościuszko Mound, and the St. Mary's Bascilla in the Rynek Glowny, which is also renowned for its beautiful Christmas Markets every year. Additionally, you can also dive deeper into Jewish history and explore Kazimeriz famous for its Jewish quarters, synagogues, Schindler's Factory, and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Camp located two hours away from Krakow.
